Imani (pictured here) is an adorable little girl in a wheelchair, who has quite the personality! She has cerebral palsy, impaired hearing and cannot speak, but she can communicate her needs. Her foster mother Shonda Craig, (seen here in the picture) says if she doesn’t give Imani her after school snack quickly enough, Imani will take her hand and move it toward the food. She is what they consider total care, but Imani can feed herself with supervision, She goes everywhere the family goes and loves places such as swimming at Kentucky Kingdom and to the Main Event arcade. Imani lights up around her foster family and younger half-brother in the foster home, and enjoys playing with toys and the family’s 2 small dogs. Imani will continue to receive all the services she currently gets. A permanent family who can give this 5 year old the love and nurturing she deserves will be a great blessing.
